ON YOUR ARRIVAL
at King Salmon

Via the AIRLINES:
If you are arriving as an airline passenger at King Salmon Airport to begin your flight with us, give us a call on the phone from the passenger terminal when you land.

We will be happy to pick you up with our passenger van if possible. Some days it just gets too hectic for us to work in an airport pickup promptly. If we're too busy when you arrive to pick you up right away, you can call the local taxi (telephone 246-TAXI) for pickup. Although we are located on the same airport, you will find the walk from the passenger terminal to our facility to be too far to drag your gear.

Within a short walk from the airline passenger terminal you will find a grocery store, 2 restaurants, and 1 hotel. Alaska Commercial Co., the local grocery store, can fix you up with your fishing license, fishing gear, groceries, deli fast-food, or other last-minute items prior to your departure into the field. Sockeye Trading has soft drinks and snack food items. The restaurants are Eddie's Fireplace Inn, and Sockeye Saloon. The hotel is Antlers Inn.

Via PRIVATE AIRCRAFT:
If you are arriving in a private aircraft, you will want to land at King Salmon Airport (PAKN). If your aircraft is Lear Jet-size or smaller, request taxi clearance either to the "Southeast Ramp" or to the "East Ramp" for parking. If your aircraft is larger size such as a Gulfstream, you definitely want taxi to the "East Ramp" only. The Southeast Ramp is smaller and more conjested, while the adjacent East Ramp has a higher load-bearing capacity, is more roomy, and is the preferred parking ramp for large aircraft.

EGLI AIR HAUL is located on the Southeast Ramp in the Blue Hangar.

We are the UNICOM Service for the airport. You can call us on your aircraft radio on 122.95 MHz., or call us on Marine VHF channel 7. Let us know how we can assist you on your arrival.

OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS:
Need a place to stay when you arrive? We suggest Bear Trail Cabins.
