Egli Air Tours typically fly non-stop, taking your group to see the many wonders found in Bristol Bay. Most tour groups want to see Katmai National Park sites. As this area is designated "national park & wilderness area," helicopter landings are not allowed there. The same restrictions apply to Becharof National Wildlife Refuge.
We can hold a hover for the next best thing to being on the ground, and the photo opportunities are world-class. (We CAN offer certain exclusive landing access to park/refuge areas. Contact us for details.)
All helicopter tours can easily include a landing stop outside the park or refuge for lunch, beach-combing, or whatever; we just have to plan it as a custom tour.
